Open letter to Richard R. Sarles, Sr., Executive Director, New Jersey Transit Dear Mr. Sarles:
I am writing regarding the problem of flooding in the south end of the City of Hoboken. As you may know, flooding has afflicted a multitude of both residents and commuters when torrential rain occurs, just as we have experienced.

Consequently I was satisfied to learn of the prospect of New Jersey Transit installing a sewage ejector to alleviate such a problem. However it appears as though there is uncertainty with regard to the sewage ejector. I write to you seeking information regarding the likelihood of such equipment, as it is certain to be instrumental to our city's transit and quality of life.

Moreover, I encourage New Jersey Transit to recognize the necessity of a sewage ejector, as it would be a solution to health and commuter issues brought about by the severe flooding that residents have endured.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,
Ruben Ramos Jr.
