Strange news
Thank you so much for publishing last week's Strange News ("Company's customers take a 'crack' at Osama," Nov. 8). I bought a roll of toilet paper with bin Laden's caricature on it, and each time I go to the bathroom, it makes me feel much better. - Jake, Jersey City
The company also sells dartboards with Osama's visage on it. Another good way to release tension.

Ah, we're just here for every question, aren't we? But we don't necessarily have the answer. Usually it airs in the waning days of November or the first days of December, which is way too early as far as we're concerned. "The Sound of Music" will be on Fox at the end of this month, by the way. It's the edited version, with some of the jokes cut out. Get it on DVD.
What a coincidence
I rented "Hannibal" and "O Brother Where Art Thou" this weekend. In Hannibal, when they go on the web to look at the FBI's most wanted, it shows Osama Bin Laden. In O Brother, they mention livestock being killed with anthrax. How'd the producers know what we'd be talking about a year later? - Sleepwalking Ed
